Terms of Service

1. Agreement

BentoBits Inc. provides the Rowseta software service (the "Service"). These Terms are an agreement between BentoBits Inc. and the organization identified in the account (the "Customer"). The person accepting these Terms confirms that they are authorized to bind the Customer. These Terms take effect when that person accepts them in the Service.

2. Service Access

During an active account, BentoBits Inc. grants the Customer a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for its internal operations. The Customer may connect data sources it controls and authorize its users to access the Service. The Customer is responsible for its users, account credentials, data source permissions, and lawful use of the Service.

3. Use Restrictions

The Customer must not:

• access data, accounts, or systems without authorization;
• interfere with the Service or impose deliberately excessive load;
• resell or sublicense the Service; or
• use the Service in violation of applicable law or another person's rights.

4. Plans and Payment

Evaluation accounts are subject to the limits shown in the Service. Paid plans, prices, billing intervals, usage limits, and any prorated amount are shown before purchase. Fees and applicable taxes are charged through the payment method selected by the Customer. Upgrades take effect when purchased; downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the paid billing period unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Charges are non-refundable except where required by law. Failure to pay may restrict or end access according to the billing state displayed in the Service.

5. Customer Data

The Customer retains its rights in data submitted to or created in the Service ("Customer Data"). The Customer instructs and grants BentoBits Inc. the limited right to host, copy, process, transmit, and display Customer Data only as needed to provide and secure the Service, comply with law, and carry out the Customer's documented instructions. The Data Processing Agreement applies automatically where BentoBits Inc. processes personal data for the Customer and is incorporated into these Terms.

6. Retention and Deletion

The Customer may export available data while its account permits access. When a paid relationship ends, the account may become locked after the billing process shown in the Service. Locked account data is retained for 90 days and then permanently deleted. Never-paid Evaluation accounts may be deleted after six months without an administrator sign-in plus a 90-day warning period. Previously paid accounts that downgrade to Evaluation are not placed on that inactivity path. Minimal deletion evidence and records required by law may be retained after account deletion.

7. Ownership

BentoBits Inc. and its licensors retain all rights in the Service. No right is granted except the limited right to use the Service stated in these Terms.

8. Suspension and Termination

The Customer may cancel or delete its account through the Service. BentoBits Inc. may suspend or terminate access for non-payment, material breach, unlawful use, or conduct that threatens the security or operation of the Service. Data is handled under Section 6 when access ends.

9. Changes

BentoBits Inc. may update these Terms, including the incorporated Data Processing Agreement. Notice of an update is sent by email to the Owners of the Customer's Organization and states the date the update takes effect. Continued use of the Service after that date means the Customer accepts the updated Terms. If the Customer does not agree, it may export available data and cancel.
